Privacy Notice
Last updated 26 August 2026
This notice explains what happens to your information when you apply for the growth programme through this website. It is written to meet the requirements of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who is responsible
Harry Phillips, trading as Harry Phillips Coaching, is the data controller for the information collected through this site. You can reach me at hjpcoaching1@outlook.com for anything relating to your data.
What is collected
When you submit an application form, the following is collected:
- Your name and email address
- Your Instagram handle and current follower count
- How often you post and where you are based
- Which brand you would most want to work with, and whether you have worked with brands before
- What you feel is holding your page back, and where you want it to be in six months
- Whether you are in a position to invest in the programme
Nothing is collected passively. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels are installed on this page.
Why it is collected, and the lawful basis
Your information is used to assess your application, to contact you about it, and — if you go ahead — to deliver the programme.
The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have approached me about a service, and I need this information to respond sensibly and to judge whether the programme is right for you. You can object to this at any time, and if you do, your application will be deleted.
If you later become a client, the basis becomes performance of a contract for the information needed to deliver what you have paid for.
You will not be added to a marketing list on the basis of applying. If marketing is offered later, it will be a separate opt-in that you can withdraw at any time.
Who else can see it
Applications are read by more than one person. Alongside me, a member of my team handles applications and follow-up conversations. They can see everything you submit.
The following services process your information on my behalf:
- Formspree — receives and forwards the application form. Formspree is based in the United States.
- Microsoft (Outlook) — where applications are received and stored as email.
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes standard server logs, including IP addresses.
Your information is not sold, and it is not shared with any brand, sponsor or third party for their own purposes. Brands referenced on this site have no access to applicant data.
Transfers outside the UK
Formspree, Microsoft and Netlify may store or process data in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers have in place, including the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long it is kept
- Unsuccessful or inactive applications — deleted within 12 months.
- Applications that lead to a conversation but not a sale — deleted within 24 months of the last contact.
- Client records — kept for the duration of the programme and for six years afterwards, which is the period HMRC requires for business records.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information held about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask for your information to be deleted
- Object to it being processed, or ask for processing to be restricted
- Ask to receive it in a portable format
Email hjpcoaching1@outlook.com and I will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I would rather you came to me first, but you do not have to.
Applicants under 18
This programme is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please do not submit an application without a parent or guardian's involvement. If I become aware that an application has come from someone under 18 without that consent, it will be deleted.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date at the top will be updated. Material changes affecting people who have already applied will be communicated by email.
